Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the long period of time since my last post on the website. I was away for nearly eight weeks visiting family and friends in Europe. Since getting back, I’ve been catching up on a number of things, as well as working on an addiction recovery book I’m writing, and preparing for my youngest daughter Natasha’s visit to Perth later this month.
I’ve just been reading and reviewing a book on addiction and addiction recovery. In the book, I found a link to a deeply moving short film produced by an amazing lady, Fritzi Horstman. Fritzi is Founder and Executive Director of the Compassion Prison Project, which has the mission of creating trauma-informed prisons and communities, through trauma-awareness education and programming. Here is the film which moved me deeply. It is well worth watching.
